In English we use the
passive voice when the subject is not the doer of an action.
When it happens, we put
the receiver of an action as the subject and the doer of an action as the
object.
For example:
Mike wrote a
letter. à A
letter was written by Mike.
To form a verb in the
passive voice we follow the next structure:
TO BE + PAST PARTICIPLE
